dineLA Restaurant Week is back!

Twice a year (summer & winter), hundreds of restaurants across the city offer special prix-fixe menus for lunch & dinner ranging from $15 to $45. Just like Restaurant Week in NYC & Boston, Dine About Town in San Fran, and Summerlicious in Toronto, they do this to bring people in during the slow weeks in the middle of January & July.

I love to eat but don't want to--and can't afford to--pay an arm and a leg for a nice meal so I was very happy to see that this happens in L.A. We didn't get to take advantage of it in the winter but will definitely check out one or two places this time around! :)

P.S. American Express is the main sponsor for this and offers an extra $5 off every time you use your Amex card at a participating restaurant if you register here. Walk-ins are possible but it's best to make a reservation ahead of time (looks like you can do so online through Open Table).
